One of the most anticipated movies of 2023 is Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush,’ which stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh as the main protagonists.
The majority of us are familiar with the Indian epic ‘Ramayan,’ and most of us have also seen it on screen several times, but we have seldom found anything other than Ramanand Sagar’s rendition to be enjoyable. It appears, and I fervently want to see anything to anticipate. The teaser for Om Raut’s Adipurush has been published and it is quite exciting.
One of the most anticipated movies of 2023 is Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush,’ which stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh as the main protagonists. Adipurush is Om Raut’s adaptation of Valmiki’s ‘Ramayana,’ which is set 7,000 years in the past.
Prabhas reportedly portrays Lord Ram, although his character isn’t called Ram; instead, he goes by the name ‘Raghav,’ which is another name for Ram. Saif Ali Khan portrays Lankesh, who is Ravana, while Kriti Sanon plays Sita and is referred to as Janaki (as in King Janaka’s daughter). These are also variations of the names they go by in the ‘Ramayana.’
It now shows that Raut was probably right when he claimed that Prabhas was his only Raghav and that without him, he wouldn’t have survived at all. Thus, the ideal on-screen Raghav is created by fusing Raut’s idea with Prabhas’ already established “Bahubali” character. It appears that Prabhas has Adipurush as yet another synonym in store for him.
To achieve that huge feeling, the characters appear to be well-designed and executed, with equally superb vfx work. One is transported through time and space as a result of the captivating environment created by the backdrops.
