Bhumi Pednekar on Monday has wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film, Bhakshak. The film is inspired by true stories and the crimes that have taken place in Bihar against women.
Helmed by Pulkit, Bhakahak was completed in a 39-day shoot schedule. The film is bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment.
Bhumi Pednekar essays the role of a journalist. She shared a photo from the sets with the team and announced the wrap-up of its shoot. She wrote, “It has been an emotional roller-coaster, and 39 days later, we wrap #Bhakshak A film that will always remain close to my heart and the narrative that will continue to give me goosebumps. I feel proud to bring to you a jaw-dropping story of women coming together to fight for justice. Produced by @redchilliesent and directed by @justpulkit. See you soon in cinemas.”
The film also stars Aditya Srivastava, Sanjay Mishra, and Sai Tamhankar in important roles.
Besides Bhakshak, Bhumi Pednekar also has Raksha Bandhan with Akshay Kumar in her kitty. The comedy drama film helmed by Aanand L. Rai. She will also be seen in Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani.
