Shane Warne dies in Thailand. Ranveer Singh, Shibani Dandekar, and others mourn legends death

Australian leg-spinner of all-time, Shane Warne, passed away on Friday, March 4, in Thailand. He was 52. The sad news has sent shockwaves across the globe. Several Bollywood celebrities namely Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Randeep Hooda, Shibani Dandekar, and Varun Dhawan mourned his sudden demise.

Taking to Instagram, Ranveer Singh shared a black-and-white photo of the cricketer and added a broken-heart emoji.

Shilpa Shetty shared throwback pictures with Shane Warne and paid tribute to the legend. She wrote, “Legends live on,” and added a heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Shibani Dandekar took to her Instagram stories and shared a happy picture with Shane, and wrote, “Completely crushed! Warney you were more than just a cricket legend! Your energy was infectious. Will always remember how warm, kind and crazy you were! Always the funniest guy in the room. No doubt you are making people laugh in the clouds as we speak. Gone too soon. Rest in paradise my friend, followed by a broken heart emoji.”

Warne’s management had released a statement about his death. “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course,” the statement read.

His career spanned over 15 years from 1992 to 2007. He picked up 708 wickets in 145 Test matches.
