Tubelight is a remake of which Hollywood movie?

Salman Khan’s film “Tubelight” is claimed to be a rip-off of the 2015 Hollywood film ‘Little Boy.’ Kabir Khan wrote and directed a 2017 Indian Hindi-language military drama film. It is set during the Sino-Indian War of 1962 and is produced by Salman Khan and Kabir Khan. Salman Khan and Sohail Khan feature in the lead roles, with Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu, Om Puri, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub rounding out the cast.

Alejandro Gómez Monteverde directed Little Boy, a 2015 World Battle II war drama movie. Monteverde and Pepe Portillo wrote the screenplay, while Eduardo Verástegui and Leo Severino produced the picture, which was edited by Joan Sobel and Fernando Villena.

Jakob Salvati, Emily Watson, David Henrie, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Michael Rapaport, Ben Chaplin, Eduardo Verástegui, Ted Levine, Abraham Benrubi, and Tom Wilkinson star in the film, which is directed by Jakob Salvati. Little Boy, the code name for the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, is referenced in the title, as is the lead character Pepper’s height.

Metanoia Films and Santa Fé Films collaborated on the film, which was distributed by Open Road Films on April 24, 2015. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment released it on DVD and Blu-ray on August 18, 2015. On a $20 million budget, the picture received unfavorable reviews from reviewers and grossed $17 million. Tubelight, an Indian remake of the film featuring Salman Khan in the lead role, was released to mediocre reviews in 2017.
