Bekhudi is a Hindi-language action drama film directed by Rahul Rawail and starring Kamal Sadanah and Kajol. It was released in 1992. This movie is their acting debut. Its plot centers around Rohit (Sadanah) and Radhika (Kajol), who are trying to overcome their parents’ opposition to their relationship.
Saif Ali Khan was intended to make his debut in Bekhudi as Rohit, but director Rahul Rawail judged him unprofessional after the first shooting date, and he was replaced by another debutante, Kamal Sadanah; while filming Bekhudi, Khan met actress Amrita Singh, whom he married in October 1991. It was also Kajol’s first film at the age of sixteen. She said she got the opportunity when visiting photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha’s studio, and she described it as “a large dose of luck” in an interview with Mayank Shekhar of Mid-Day.
The music team Nadeem-Shravan composed the soundtrack for the film. Anwar Sagar, Sikandar Bharati, Saima Nadeem, and Surendra Saathi wrote the lyrics.
(Tanuja and Vijayendra Ghatge) The parents of Radhika (Kajol) have arranged for her to marry Vicky (Ajay Mankotia) in Canada. She insists on meeting him in person to get to know him better, and they both agree. When she arrives in Canada, she meets Vicky and at first, approves of him. She later meets Rohit (Kamal Sadanah), with whom she gradually falls in love.
Vicky and her parents are both outraged when they learn the truth. They all get together and devise a scheme to push Radhika to marry Vicky. Vicky kidnaps Rohit to compel Radhika to agree to marry him.
