Bollywood actress and environmentalist Bhumi Pednekar has been named as India’s first MAC global cosmetics brand ambassador for her climate protection, sustainability and fitness efforts.
Bhumi has expressed her love for makeup.
The actress said I am a makeup addict. I can’t even remember how old I was when I entered the world of beauty.
The actress said that she has been around women who love the beauty world as much as she does. She said, I think it was her influence, along with positive, fun and creative makeup, that surrounded me and continues to do so to this day. It’s really like therapy for me.
The 32-year-old actress is extremely honoured and proud to be the first Indian celebrity to be appointed as the face of a brand like M.A.C.
Bhumi Pednekar told that she has been addicted to makeup since she was very young. So I feel extremely honoured and proud. It is an achievement for me to be the face of the brand.
The actress says that for her, the pillars of the brand are inclusivity, diversity, community and social responsibility that resonate with her.
Talking about her upcoming work, The actress revealed that she will be seen in Badhaai Do with Rajkummar Rao, Raksha Bandhan starring Akshay Kumar and Mr Lele with Vicky Kaushal.
