Cinema halls and OTT both have their unique space: Shreyas Talpade

OTT platforms have a lot of sway in today’s time. Most of the films are now being released on OTT only. But this does not mean that the importance of the cinema hall has diminished. Actor Shreyas Talpade also supports this.

Shreyas said that both cinema halls and OTT have their own unique space and they will never dominate each other.

However, due to COVID-19, there has been a lot of impact on movie theatres.

Actor Shreyas Talpade emphasized that everything has its place and movie theatre has its magic.

People like to watch movies in theatres, with their families. This trend will always continue.

Shreyas Talpade explained that he feels that people are getting used to OTT. But this does not mean that the magic of OTT will work with the opening of cinema halls.

However, such questions arose even when TV came on. At that time, VCD, CD and DVD were in place of OTT.

The actor introduced his OTT platform ‘Nine Juice’ sometime back. Golmaal actor Talpade’s app creates plays, skits, dance and music and other performing arts for the digital space.

Actor Shreyas Talpade expressed concern that OTT is an addiction. It is available 24 hours a day on our phone. When we start watching a series, we watch till the end of the season, which is not right.

The actor said that he has been offered some OTT projects but he is still considering them.

Golmaal’s actor Talpade has many big-screen films. ‘Golmaal 5’ shooting also has been postponed due to the pandemic.

Shreyas Talpade reveals that his upcoming releases will be ‘Manu Aur Munni Ki Shaadi’ and the Marathi love story ‘Mrigatrishna’.
