The trailer of the much-awaited Punjabi film Honsla Rakh is finally out. The film is already on the watchlist of many due to numerous reasons. Honsla Rakh is an upcoming romantic comedy film helmed by Amarjit Singh Saron starring Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill, Shinda Grewal, and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles. The film also marks Diljit’s debut as a producer, and we must say, all the actors have impressed us in the trailer.
Set up in Canada, the trailer of the film begins with an ironic scene where Dosanjh gets irritated by an infant or someone in a restaurant. But little does he know that he will soon find himself in the same situation. Diljit and Shehnaaz essay a romantic couple. However, the latter is seen making it clear that she doesn’t want infants, and Diljit agrees. But soon after, Shehnaaz happens to be pregnant with Dilit’s child. The story gears up when the two decide to get divorced, and Shehnaaz makes sure that Diljit retains their child’s custody.
Unwillingly, Diljit becomes a single parent, and his journey of fatherhood is one of the things that make us laugh. He keeps track of what’s good for a toddler. However, because he is single and wants to marry, he then meets Sonam Bajwa and falls in love with her. And now the true story comes into the picture that the trailer highlights about the impact on Diljit and Sonam’s relationship when Shenaaz reappears in Diljit’s life again.
Shinda Grewal plays ‘Honsla,’ Diljit and Shehnaaz’s son, in the movie, and his interaction with his father is truly endearing. Without a doubt, we were thoroughly entertained by the trailer, and are eagerly waiting for its release. Besides, being a romantic comedy film, few emotional moments are kept as a surprise for the audience.
