Tiger Zinda Hai is a 2017 Indian action thriller spy movie written by Neelesh Misra and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is the second entry in the Tiger franchise and is a sequel to the 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif appear in the flick.
Pre-production on the film began in 2016 and filming wrapped in 2017, with locations including Abu Dhabi, Austria, Greece, and Morocco. Sajjad Delafrooz, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Nawab Shah, Ivan Rodrigues, Girish Karnad, and Paresh Rawal are among the cast members. It is one of the most costly Hindi films and one of the most expensive Indian films ever filmed, with a budget of 210 crores (US$29 million). The film earned over 565 crores (US$79 million) at the box office, making it India’s seventh highest-grossing film and set a new non-holiday box office record in India with a first-day gross of 34.1 crore net. It received Best Action at the 63rd Filmfare Awards.

The trailer for the film was published on November 6, 2017. With over 29 million views, 480 thousand likes, and 250 thousand shares in just 24 hours, it shattered many records for Hindi film trailers on YouTube. This film received largely positive reviews at its initial release.
