Maanvi Gagroo plays an insecure wife in Marriage 2.0

Actress Maanvi Gagroo is often called the web queen. OTT Protect has gained prominence with the web series Pitchers and Tripling.
Her latest short film Marriage 2.0, a part of the anthology series Kaali Peeli Tales, is receiving good reviews.

Maanvi plays Malini, a slightly insecure wife opposite Hussain Dalal and Dalal play her carefree husband. They are a modern couple in Mumbai who are experimenting with the idea of an open marriage.

During an interview, Maanvi shared about her character in Marriage 2.0.

It is an urban look at marriage, she says. Both the partners are working and very busy with their lives. Malini worries that at some point their marriage will become boring. What if they get attracted to someone?

She further said, and then the husband should be attracted to someone. She gets jealous when she meets her husband’s crush. This is a very funny and sweet treat on relationships.

Maanvi has four more shots, please! He has proved his mettle with his versatile acting skills in web series. He has also done films like Made in Heaven and more recently Ujda Chaman and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.

Maanvi shares a lot of similarities with her reel-life character Malini. “I am very similar to Malini. I was living alone in the first lockdown, I did my spiritual work and felt that I was a changed person. But when I was with people on the sets, I was reacting to that.

Being a part of the anthology, Marriage 2.0, the actress loves short stories. That said, I like short stories. Even when I am reading, I enjoy reading short stories as they end quickly.

He further elaborated, Anthology is an extremely snackable format. You can only see a whole thing and you can get a sense of wholeness as well.
