On the achievement of becoming the first Indian woman to get consecutive Olympic medals, PV Sindhu got a lot of greetings from her home town Hyderabad. Tollywood did not make themselves poised on the achievement of Indian badminton player. Celebrities like Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Pooja Hegde, and more congratulated Sindhu on different social media platforms.
Mahesh Babu posted a tweet on Twitter by writing, “Yet another historic win.. by one of India’s best!! Congratulations on winning the bronze @Pvsindhu1! Immensely happy and proud!! #Tokyo2020 (sic).” She has defeated He Bing Jiao, China with 21-13, 21-15 and get the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
Pooja Hegde, a Tollywood actress, praised PV Sindhu by saying that it needs loads of courage, focus and tribute to accomplish what Sindhu has done. She also thanked Sindhu for being an inspiration. Sindhu has won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Pragya Jaiswal, who is going to appear in the upcoming Telugu film, Akhanda said that PV Sindhu is an inspiration for every Indian girl. She added that getting two Olympic medals subsequently tells that everything is possible if you dream about that. Pragya said thank you to Sindhu for making India proud.
