Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is celebrating his 73rd birthday on Monday, September 20. His old friend, the veteran actress, Shabana Azmi, took to social media to post a picture and penned a warm birthday wish for him. Reminiscing how Mahesh gave her one of her best films, Arth. She also wrote that he will always be an integral part of her life.
Shabana shared a photo of the Bhatt and wrote, “Salgirah Mubarak my dearest #MaheshBhat. You gave me #Arth and wrenched a performance out of me that I didn’t know I was capable of. You introduced me to JKrishnamurti and Bob Dylan we spent hours discussing different books we had read, we loved Begum Akhtar…All this and much more… Whether we meet up or not you will always be an integral part of my life. Thank you dear one.”
Mahesh Bhatt celebrated his birthday with his family. Alia organized a birthday bash for her dad on Sunday night. The party was attended by her beau, Ranbir Kapoor, and sister, Pooja Bhatt. Mahesh’s wife, Soni Razdan, and daughter, Shaheen Bhatt, joined the party virtually. The actress shared a bunch of pictures from the intimate celebration on her Instagram profile. She wrote, “73 years young! Happy birthday, papa.”
Pooja Bhatt also shared an adorable picture of a father-daughter duo on her Instagram account. “The birthday boy… But don’t miss the setting girl!” she wrote.
Mahesh Bhatt is an acclaimed filmmaker who has made movies like Arth, Daddy, Aashiqui, Sadak, Zakhm, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, and Sadak 2, among others.
