Shilpa Shetty Kundra has been standing strong ever since her husband, businessmen Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police in the production and streaming of porn videos case. After two months of being in jail, Raj was granted bail on September 20 and he returned home. Recently, Shilpa took to social media to share a photo of a book excerpt about suffering and strength.
Shilpa Shetty has been trying to establish normalcy in her life after her husband’s arrest. Now, the actress has shared a quote by Christiaan Barnard on her Instagram story which emphasizes working through difficult times.
The book excerpt reads, “We’ve all heard that suffering makes us stronger that we learn from our difficulties. This may be true, but not in the simple way we might think. Difficult times don’t make us better; working through difficult times does. Suffering can force us to draw on strengths we never knew we had. Discovering these hidden strengths can then help us cope should difficult times come again. I hate bad times as much as anyone does, but I know I’m strong enough to get through them and recover from them.” She also added a Wonder Woman sticker to her post.
Earlier, the Mumbai crime branch filed a 1500 page charge sheet in the porn racket case naming Raj Kundra and others. In which Shilpa Shetty’s statement was also recorded. In her statement, the actress said that she was too busy with her own work to ask her husband what he does.
For the unversed, Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 by Mumbai police.
