B-Town, or Bollywood, has always provided wonderful possibilities for Pakistani females to perform in Bollywood films, and there are still a few Pakistani actresses who are well-known for their work in the industry, as well as some newcomers striving to make their mark.
1. Salma Agha:
Salma Agha is a well-known Pakistani actress in Bollywood. She made her debut in B.R. Chopra’s ‘Nikaah,’ for which she received the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award for the ghazal ‘Dil Ke Armaan Aansuon Mein Beh Gaye.’
2. Zeba Bakhtiar:
Yahya Bakhtiar gave birth to Zeba Bakhtiar on November 5, 1962 in Quetta, Pakistan. Zeba rose to prominence with her Bollywood debut film, Henna, but she is now again in the spotlight owing to her marriage to Adnan Sami and the accompanying custody fights over her kid.
3. Somi Ali:
Somy Ali was born to Tehmina, an Iraqi mother, and Madad, a Pakistani father. She received her early education in Karachi. Somya Ali has also appeared in a number of Bollywood films, including Krishan Avataar, Anth, Andolan, Aao Pyaar Karen, Teesra Kaun, Mafia, and others.
4. Nargis Fakhri:
Fakhri was born in Queens, New York, on October 20, 1979, to Pakistani father Mohammed and Czech mother Marie Fakhri. I’m sure you’ve heard of her because she has appeared in a number of successful films.
5. Mona Lisa or Mona Lizza:
Mona Lisa, born Mona Lizza on December 11, 1985, is another Pakistani actress in Bollywood. Lizza made her cinematic debut in Pooja Bhatt’s romantic thriller film Kajraare in 2010, but it was not well received.
6. Irtiza Rubab aka Meera:
Meera is a well-known Bollywood actress, yet few people are aware of her real name, ‘Irtiza Rubab.’ She has appeared in a number of Bollywood films, including Nazar, Kasak, and Paanch Ghantey Mien Paanch Crore.
7. Saba Qamar:
Saba Qamar was born on April 5, 1984, and is another Pakistani actress who has worked in Bollywood films. She acted in the film ‘Hindi Medium,’ which was released in 2017. Although the film did not receive a lot of attention, this Pakistani actress made her B-Town debut.
