Saugat Bista from Nepal, born on 6 January 2007, is the youngest director of a professionally produced feature-length movie. At that time he was 7 years and 340 days old when Love you baba was premiered in theatres on December 12, 2014. He is a member of the Nepal Film Directors Guild. The picture was a box office failure, but it won two honors at the National Film Awards (Nepal).

Sangam Bista, an actress, got the ‘Best Child Artist’ award, and Saugat received the ‘Appreciation for Youngest Director’ award. Love You Baba filmmaker Bista was named the youngest director of a professionally created feature-length film by Guinness World Records for the film.

The film follows Sushant, a single parent, as he tries to care for his 10-year-old daughter Chanchal. Chanchal’s mother died while she was in the birth of Chanchal, and Sushant has a difficult time parenting her. Sushant goes out of his way to please his daughter, taking her places and purchasing her the things she wants. The film delves into the father’s and daughter’s deep bond.

Sushant is played by Gajit Bista, and Chanchal is played by Sangam Bista. Nishma Ghimire, Basanta Bhatta, Nirmal Sharma, Chandra Pant, Anmol Agrawal, Ashishma Nakarmi, and Saugat Bista are among the cast members. Love You Baba was shot over the course of 27 days in various locations in Nepal.
