Jared Joseph Leto, usually known as Jared Leto, is an American actor and singer who was born on December 26, 1971. Leto rose to prominence from the television series My So-Called Life (1994) after beginning his career with television appearances in the early 1990s.

The Bedford Falls Company, in collaboration with ABC Productions, distributes the film. It covers the emotional struggles of numerous teens in the social circle of the main character at the fictional Liberty High School in the fictional town of Three Rivers near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Despite being critically acclaimed for its portrayal of adolescence and the commentary of its central character, Angela, and receiving several major award nominations, including Danes winning the Golden Globe for her acting work on the series, the show was officially canceled on May 15, 1995, despite being critically praised for its portrayal of adolescence and the commentary of its central character.
