Singham is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language action movie directed by Navaniat Singh and written by Dheeraj Rattan. Parmish Verma, Kartar Cheema, and Sonam Bajwa appear in the film, which is co-produced by T-Series, Ajay Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios. Sardar Sohi, Rupinder Rupi, Anita Devgn, and Hardeep Gill play supporting roles.
It’s an approved remake of the Hindi movie Singham (2011), which is a remake of the same-named Tamil film from 2010. The film tells the narrative of Dilsher Singh, a good cop who confronts drug dealers in his village of Singham Khurd. On August 9, 2019, the movie was released globally.
Dilsher Sekhon, after taking over as the DSP of Singham Khurd, sets out to eradicate drug addiction among Punjab’s young. This pits him against Bhuller, a ruthless businessman with high-ranking ties. Desi Crew provided the music, and Raj Ranjodh, Laddi Chahal, and Balvir Boparai wrote the words. Shipra Goyal, Kulwinder Dhillon, and Goldy Desi Crew contribute vocals to the album. Desi Crew reproduced the song ‘Kalli Kitte Mil,’ which was sung by Dhillon and included music by Sukhpal Sukh and words by Balvir Boparai.
On August 9, 2019, the film was released in theatres. The Punjabi Singham film had grossed a total of Rs. 4.05 crore.
