In which Hollywood movie did Adnan Siddiqui star?

During the filming of A Mighty Heart in India in 2007, the actor Adnan Siddiqui met Hollywood A-listers. Michael Winterbottom directed A Mighty Heart, which is based on the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl in Karachi.

Adnan Siddiqui, a Pakistani actor, producer, and model, was born on October 23, 1969, and has worked in both Lollywood and Hollywood, as well as making his Bollywood debut with the Hindi film Mom (2017). He also runs Cereal Entertainment, a production company that produces serials including Aadat and Ghughi. Following PTV’s classical drama Uroosa, he played a supporting part in Mere Paas Tum Ho, a popular Pakistani drama serial.

 A Mighty Heart

A Mighty Heart is a drama movie directed by Michael Winterbottom and based on a script by John Orloff. It was released in 2007. Mariane Pearl’s memoir of the same name was published in 2003. The film premiered in North America on June 22, 2007, following an out-of-competition screening at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. The critical response to A Mighty Heart was overwhelmingly good.

The search for kidnapped Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002 is described in A Mighty Heart. Pearl was kidnapped in Karachi by Omar Sheikh’s supporters. The film also depicts attempts by Pakistan’s Security Forces, Department of Justice, and the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) of the US Department of State to track down the kidnappers and bring them to justice. In 2002, Sheikh claimed responsibility for Pearl’s kidnapping and beheading. He was apprehended and found guilty, but he is appealing the decision.

A Mighty Heart had a terrible box office performance, earning only $18 million in total income against a $16 million production budget.
