Mukesh Rishi, an Indian actor and film producer who predominantly works in Hindi and Telugu films, was born on April 19, 1956. In addition to Malayalam, Punjabi, and Tamil films, he has appeared in Malayalam, Punjabi, and Tamil films. In Hindi, he made his debut in 1988 and has since established himself as a leading character actor.
Although he began his cinematic career as a villain, he has since moved into more pleasant roles. He joins the ranks of actors like Amrish Puri, Puneet Issar, Sharat Saxena, Pradeep Rawat, and Sayaji Shinde who do not speak Telugu.
Mukesh was born in Jammu. Rishi traveled to work in Fiji after graduating from Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh and working in Mumbai for two years, when he met his Indian wife, Fijian.
They moved to New Zealand after their marriage, where Mukesh began his modeling career. However, due to a hectic job schedule, he struggled to find time for modeling and was disappointed with his modeling assignments. He returned to Mumbai, India, after seven years and enrolled in Roshan Taneja’s acting school.
He got his acting debut in Tollywood in 1988 and has established himself as a leading actor. Although he started his career as the villain, he has also diversified into donning some positive roles. In this transition, Mukesh joins a list of many non-Telugu speaking actors who donned such roles including Puneet Issar, Sharat Saxena, and Amrish Puri, among others.
