Is Saajan was a good movie?

Lawrence D’Souza directed and Sudhakar Bokade produced Saajan, a 1991 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film. Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Madhuri Dixit appear in the film, which also has Kader Khan, Reema Lagoo, and Laxmikant Berde in supporting parts.

The film’s music was composed by Nadeem–Shravan, while the lyrics were written by Sameer. Saajan earned a total of Rupees 18 crores globally. It was 1991’s highest-grossing Bollywood film. It was unofficially remade as Allari Priyudu in Telugu.

Aman, a destitute and lame orphan, is adopted by Rajiv Verma, a wealthy businessman. Aman is accepted by Rajiv’s wife, Kamla, and their own kid, Akash. Aamir Khan was the first candidate for the role of Aman. Despite appreciating the narrative, he couldn’t connect with the role, and Sanjay Dutt was cast as a result of his reluctance.

Nadeem-Shravan composed the music, and Sameer and Faiz Anwar wrote the words (for the song Pehli Bar Mile Hain). With nearly 7 million copies sold, the record was the best-selling album of the year. Nadeem-Shravan won their second Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for the film. Kumar Sanu got his second Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song “Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai,” which he sang for Sanjay Dutt’s character. SP Balasubramanyam, Pankaj Udhas, Anuradha Paudwal, and Alka Yagnik all contributed to the album with their vocals. Filmfare Awards were nominated for all of the singers.
