Anil Ravipudi’s Sarileru Neekevvaru is a 2020 Telugu action comedy film written and directed by him. Sri Venkateswara Creations, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and AK Entertainments are the producers. Mahesh Babu, Rashmika Mandanna, and Vijayashanti lead in the film, which also has Prakash Raj and Rajendra Prasad in supporting roles. The music was created by Devi Sri Prasad, and the cinematography was handled by R. Rathnavelu.
In Hyderabad, production began on May 31, 2019. The shooting in Kashmir began on July 5, 2019, and lasted until mid-November 2019. The film premiered on 2050 screens around the world on January 11, 2020, to coincide with Sankranti.
The film was made on a budget of Rupees 75 crores and was a commercial triumph when it was released, grossing more than Rupees 260 crores worldwide. The film has grossed US$37.39 million worldwide, according to box office monitoring website Box Office Mojo, making it the forty-first highest-grossing picture of 2020.
Devi Sri Prasad composed the music, collaborating for the fifth time with Mahesh Babu and for the second time with Anil Ravipudi following F2 – Fun, and Frustration. Devi Sri Prasad, Sri Mani, and Ramajogayya Sastry wrote the lyrics.
Rashmika Mandanna was cast as the leading heroine alongside Mahesh Babu in the film. Vijayashanti was cast in this film, which marked her return after a 13-year absence.
