What is Subhash Ghai doing now?

Subhash Ghai, an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter, was born on January 24, 1945, and is best known for his work in the Bollywood industry. Kalicharan (1976), Vishwanath (1978), Maeri (1976), Karz (1980), Hero (1983), Vidhaata (1982), Meri Jung (1985), Karma (1986), Ram Lakhan (1989), and Saudagar (1989) are among his best-known works (1991).

He founded Mukta Arts Private Limited is 1982, which became a public corporation in 2000, with Subhash Ghai as executive chairman. For producing the social problem film Iqbal, he earned the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues in 2006. He launched the Whistling Woods International film and media organization in Mumbai the same year.

He won the IIFA Award for Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema in 2015. Ghai earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Rohtak, Haryana, before pursuing a master’s degree in cinema from the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.

He had a successful relationship with Dilip Kumar in the 1980s and 1990s, directing Vidhaata (1982), Karma (1986), and Saudagar (1991), for which he received the Filmfare Best Director Award. In Hero (1983), he launched Jackie Shroff as a prominent actor, and with Meri Jung, he helped launch Anil Kapoor’s career (1985). His wife, Mukta Ghai, and children, Meghna Ghai Puri and Muskaan Ghai live in Mumbai today.
