Kashmera Shah is an actress from India. She was born in Bombay and is the granddaughter of Anjanibai Lolekar, a well-known Hindustani classical vocalist. She’s acted in several Hindi and Marathi movies. Shah is half Gujarati and half Maharashtrian. Kashmera was a major celebrity competitor in the inaugural season of Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother, which aired in 2006. In 2007, she and her husband, Krushna Abhishek, took part in the dance pair reality show Nach Baliye. She is 48 now.
She began her modeling career when she was 16 years old. By the age of 23, she had completed several modeling assignments and had established herself as a well-known model. In 1993, she won Miss University World at her college and went on to represent India in a beauty pageant in South Korea, where she won the crown.
Marney Bhi Do Yaaron, a fantasy comedy featuring herself and her husband and produced by both of them, was released in 2019. She appeared on season 13 of Bigg Boss in 2020, but just to support her sister-in-law, Arti Singh, not as a participant.
In 1996, she landed her first dancing role in the Telugu film ‘Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Proyuralu.’ Jawani Se Jung Je Choli Meri An Tang from Vaastav (1999), Ban Than from Krukshetra (2000), and other prominent Hindi item songs have featured her.
