What is the age of Neelam Kothari?

Neelam Kothari Soni, also known as Neelam, is an Indian jewelry designer and actress who was born on November 9, 1969. Jawaani (1984), in which she co-starred with Karan Shah, was her acting debut. Following that, Neelam appeared in Love 86 (1986), Ilzaam (1986), Sindoor (1986), Khudgarz (1987), Hatya (1988), Farz Ki Jung (1989), Taaqatwar (1989), and Do Qaidi (1989) alongside Govinda (1989).

In the films Aag Hi Aag (1987), Paap Ki Duniya (1988), Khatron Ke Khiladi (1988), Billoo Badshah (1989), Ghar Ka Chiraag (1989), and Mitti Aur Sona (1989), she acted opposite Chunkey Pandey.

Neelam Kothari is a Hong Kong native. She is of Gujarati and Iranian descent. She learned to play the keyboard and danced Jazz Ballet as a child. Her family owns a traditional jewelry business that specializes in high-end pieces. She attended Island School and was a member of the Rutherford House.

Kothari’s performance in her debut picture drew attention from the film industry, and she was approached with offers. She rose to fame in 1986 for her role in the film Ilzaam, in which she co-starred with another rookie, Govinda. She was a popular co-star with Govinda and appeared in 14 films with him.

She was interested in jewelry creation and was involved in her family’s business even while pursuing her acting career.
