When was Mumbai Saga released on Amazon Prime?

The action-drama ‘Mumbai Saga,’ starring John Abraham, has been released on Amazon Prime Video almost a month after its theatrical release. The OTT platform announced to fans that the film will be available to stream on Amazon starting April 27, 2021.

Mumbai Saga is a Hindi-language action crime film directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by T-Series that will be released in 2021. John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Prateik Babbar, Samir Soni, Amole Gupte, and Gulshan Grover star in the ensemble cast. Mumbai Saga is a film set in the 1980s and 1990s that depicts the changing stages of Mumbai, including the closure of mills to make way for malls and high-rise structures.

On March 19, 2021, the film was released in theatres. It underperformed commercially because of the return of COVID-19 pandemic cases, which prompted Maharashtra to impose a night curfew and lockdown. On April 27, 2021, it was digitally aired on Amazon Prime Video.

Principal photography began on August 27, 2019, in Mumbai and continued in Hyderabad. The film will be completed in October 2020. Yo-Yo Honey Singh, Payal Dev, and Tanishk Bagchi composed the film’s music, while Hommie Dilliwala, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Prashant Ingole, and Manoj Muntashir wrote the lyrics.
