Which are the must-watch movies in Disney Plus?

It’s that time of year again. It’s time to sit, gather the family around the television, and enjoy some of Disney Plus’ greatest wholesome movies. Whether it’s Anna Kendrick’s Noelle charming your socks off, Iron Man 3 proving to be a surprisingly suitable Christmas movie, or Frozen 1 and 2 freezing and warming your heart all over again, your Christmas entertainment is taken care of.

Noelle (2019):

Anna Kendrick in a holiday movie. If that isn’t enough to entice you, Bill Hader plays the worried brother of Noelle, Santa’s daughter and bringer of Christmas cheer to all. When Santa dies, it’s up to Nick Kringle to take over the reins. Instead, he mounts a reindeer and flees.

Iron Man (2013):

We’re going to start with Iron Man 3. Yes, it’s true. Because Marvel published a 1,800-word piece reminding you it’s a Christmas movie. ‘It’s difficult to argue with the festive atmosphere, gift-giving, repentance for past misdeeds, and Tony’s desire to be better — not only for himself but also for those around him.’

Miracle on 34th Street (1947):

Let’s go old school with the purest of Christmas movies, which means we’re skipping Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ’90s Christmas ‘comedy’ Jingle All The Way. A department store Santa Claus pretends to be the actual Santa Claus in the film Miracle on 34th Street. ‘Oh, Christmas isn’t just a day,’ for example.

The Chronicles of Narnia:

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005): What better way to spend the holidays than with Disney’s faithful-to-the-source-material Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Strange Hotness of James McAvoy’s Mr. Tumnus? The main flaw in the adventure, which follows four British youngsters who discover a closet that leads to a snowy magical land, is that there aren’t any more humorous special effects before and after shots.

Home Alone (1990):

Home Alone

‘Rollin’ down the street smokin’ on gin and juice/Laidback,’ Snoop Dog once paid homage to Home Alone in a music video. Don’t watch that; instead, watch Kevin McCallister protect his home from robbers during the holidays.
