Which is Seth Rogen’s debut movie?

Seth Aaron Rogen or Seth Rogen, a Canadian actor, comedian, writer, and director were born on April 15, 1982. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in Vancouver before moving to Los Angeles for a role in Judd Apatow’s series Freaks and Geeks. He later landed a role on the sitcom Undeclared, where he also worked as a writer.

His first film performance was in Donnie Darko (2001) when he played a tiny role. In Apatow’s directorial debut, The 40-year-old virgin, Rogen played a supporting part and was recognized as a co-producer. Following that, he starred in Apatow’s comedies Knocked Up and Funny People for Universal Pictures.

Donnie Darko is a 2001 American science fiction movie written and directed by Richard Kelly and produced by Flower Films. This film features Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore, Mary McDonnell, Katharine Ross, Patrick Swayze, Noah Wyle, Stu Stone, Daveigh Chase, and James Duval.

Donnie Darko is a disturbed adolescent who narrowly avoids a horrific accident and gets visions of Frank, a mystery character dressed as a rabbit who tells him that the world will end in just over 28 days. Frank starts to persuade Donnie to conduct a series of crimes.

The movie had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2001, and a limited theatrical release on October 26. Because the movie’s advertising portrayed a crashed plane and the September 11 attacks had occurred a month and a half before, it received little publicity, resulting in a low box office performance of $517,375 in its first run.
