Amber Laura Heard is an American actress who was born on April 22, 1986. Heard earned her first big part in the horror thriller All the Boys Love Mandy Lane after a series of modest roles in film and television (2006). She rose to prominence after appearing in the action picture Never Back Down (2008) and the comedy Pineapple Express (2008) as a supporting actress.

Visual effects, production design, tone, action sequences, Momoa’s performance, and Wan’s direction were all praised, while the plot and runtime were panned. Aquaman: King of Atlantis, an animated miniseries based on the movie, aired from October 14 to October 28, 2021, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, a live-action sequel movie, will be released on December 16, 2022.
