Sean Justin Penn or Sean Penn, is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer, was born on August 17, 1960. For his parts in the mystery film Mystic River (2003) and the biopic Milk, he has received two Academy Awards in 2008. His last film was ‘The Last Face’ which was released in 2016.
The Last Face is a drama movie directed by Sean Penn and written by Erin Dignam. Charlize Theron, Javier Bardem, Adèle Exarchopoulos, and Jean Reno featured in the film. It was chosen to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival but received mixed reviews upon its release. Saban Films premiered the film on DirecTV on June 29, 2017, before releasing it on video on demand and in theatres on July 28, 2017.
Wren is a physician and activist working in West Africa with Doctors of the World, an organization founded by her late father years ago. Wren meets Miguel, a gorgeous surgeon who has dedicated his life to serving people from underprivileged and war-torn areas of the world, in 2003. The two fell in love, but Wren soon learns that Miguel had previously had a sexual encounter with her cousin, which contributes to their relationship’s demise.
On April 10, 2014, it was revealed that Sean Penn will helm the picture, which would star Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem. On August 1, 2014, principal photography commenced in Cape Town.
