Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods is a 2020 American military drama film that he directed, produced, and co-wrote. The cast was announced in February 2019, and filming began a month later in Southeast Asia, lasting until June. It is one of Lee’s most expensive films, with a production budget of $35–45 million.

The film won multiple honors, including Academy Award nominations for Best Original Score and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, as well as being selected the Best Film of 2020 by the National Board of Review.
