Which is the last movie of the Bourne franchise?

Jason Bourne is an action thriller movie directed by Paul Greengrass and written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse that was released in 2016. The Bourne Ultimatum is the fifth entry in the Bourne film series, and it is a direct sequel to The Bourne Identity (2007). Former CIA assassin Jason Bourne is played by Matt Damon again in this film. Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Julia Stiles, Vincent Cassel, Riz Ahmed, Ato Essandoh, and Scott Shepherd also star in the movie.

Because director Paul Greengrass intended to focus on the main character, and actor Jeremy Renner was unable to participate due to schedule difficulties, the character Aaron Cross from The Bourne Legacy (2012) is absent from the film. In Jason Bourne, Bourne is on the run from CIA kill squads while attempting to unearth hidden truths about his father, while CIA director Robert Dewey (Jones) orders Heather Lee (Vikander) to track him down. The movie’s principal photography began on September 8, 2015.
