Which is the last Rocky movie in its franchise?

Rocky Balboa is the final installment in the Rocky movie franchise. Sylvester Stallone wrote, directed, and starred in this 2006 American sports drama movie. The film, starring Stallone as an underdog boxer is a follow-up to the 1990 film Rocky V and the sixth entry in the Rocky franchise, which began thirty years ago with the Academy Award-winning Rocky.

The movie depicts an elderly Balboa in retirement, a widower living in Philadelphia, and the owner and operator of ‘Adrian’s,’ a local Italian restaurant named after his late wife. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Columbia Pictures, and Revolution Studios released the movie on December 20, 2006, 30 years post-Rocky (1976), and it exceeded box office forecasts while receiving mostly positive critical reviews.
