Red Notice (2021) is often considered as no. 1 thriller movie ever made. Rawson Marshall Thurber wrote and directed Red Notice, a 2021 American action movie. It stars Dwayne Johnson as an FBI agent who reluctantly joins forces with a well-known art thief in order to apprehend a far more legendary crook. Following Central Intelligence (2016) and Skyscraper (2018), this is Thurber and Johnson’s third collaboration.
The film was originally set to be released by Universal Pictures, but Netflix bought the rights to distribute it. It had a limited theatrical release on November 5, 2021, before becoming available for digital streaming on November 12, 2021.
Critics reacted to the movie with conflicting feelings. It was the most-watched picture on Netflix in its first weekend, as well as the most-watched movie within 28 days of its release. In Atlanta, Georgia, principal photography began on January 3, 2020. After Johnson concluded filming on Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, production on the sequel was set to begin in April 2019.
The movie was house-built with a $160 million production budget, but by the time it was released, the reported cost had risen to $200 million, making it Netflix’s most expensive film ever. Though Netflix does not release box office figures for its films, Deadline Hollywood estimated that the picture generated $1.25-$1.5 million in its first weekend in 750 cinemas. By November 15, the total theatre gross had surpassed $2 million.
