Sara Ali Khan, an Indian actress who works in Hindi films, was born on August 12, 1995. She is the daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan and was born into the Pataudi family. She is the maternal granddaughter of Shivinder Singh Virk and Rukhsana Sultana, and the paternal grandchild of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore.
Khan dabbled in acting after graduating from Columbia University, starring as the leading heroine in 2018 flicks Kedarnath and Simmba. Both films were commercially successful, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the former. In 2019, she was named to Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list.
She will appear in Aanand L. Rai’s film Atrangi Re, which will be released in August 2021, and co-stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Khan is also going to act alongside Vicky Kaushal in Aditya Dhar’s legendary superhero film The Immortal Ashwatthama, directed by Uri: The Surgical Strike. It’s the first installment of a proposed trilogy backed by Ronnie Screwvala.
Sara Ali Khan was ranked 66th on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list in 2019, with a yearly income of Rupees 57.5 million (US$760,000). Fanta, Puma, and Veet are among the brands and goods for which she is a celebrity ambassador.
