The second season of The Kapil Sharma Show was produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia in conjunction with K9 Films and Triyambh Entertainment and Media. This partnership does not look to be coming to a close any time soon. The show is a Sony Entertainment Television stand-up comedy and chats show that airs in Hindi in India. The first season of the show, hosted by Kapil Sharma, premiered on April 23, 2016. The Shantivan Non-Cooperative Housing Society’s Kapil Sharma and his neighbors were the focus of the series. The show was filmed in Mumbai’s Goregaon East neighborhood, Film City.

The show’s first season was produced by Kapil Sharma’s production company K9 Films in collaboration with Frames Productions, while the second season is a collaboration between Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia, with K9 Films and TEAM (Triyambh Entertainment & Media) as creative producers.

The Kapil Sharma Show

The format of the show is nearly identical to that of Kapil’s Comedy Nights. Kapil Sharma and his cast of comedians, which includes Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, and Rochelle Rao, play inhabitants of the Shantivan Non-cooperative Housing Society in The Kapil Sharma Show. Normally, each program is split into two sections, the first of which is a comic sketch.

This show is acted out by the actors, with the celebrity interview being the second part, in which famous people from various disciplines engage in a lighthearted conversation with Kapil Sharma. Navjot Singh Sidhu was the show’s permanent guest until February 16, 2019, when Archana Puran Singh took his place.
