Chicken Run 2 is a stop-motion animated film created by Aardman Animations in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, Netflix, and Universal Pictures in the United Kingdom and the United States. It’s the follow-up to Chicken Run, which came out in 2000. Sam Fell will helm the picture, which is based on a screenplay written by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell and a story written by Sam Fell.
On April 26, 2018, Chicken Run 2 was revealed. For the sequel, Aardman Animations will reunite with Pathé and DreamWorks Animation, albeit DreamWorks Pictures will not be involved, as they severed their association with Aardman following the release of Flushed Away in 2006. Sam Fell will direct, and Steve Pegram and Leyla Hobart will produce.
Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, who wrote the first Chicken Run, will return for the sequel, along with Rachel Tunnard.
