Girl Lost

Shara, a 15-year-old girl, is the protagonist of Girl Lost. Shara runs away with her street hustler boyfriend, Jamie, after being sexually molested by her mother’s boyfriend. Jamie and Shara fight to stay alive in Los Angeles, but they ultimately fail. When the troubled adolescent finds herself homeless and alone, she turns to the only alternative she believes she has: selling her body and soul. Shara begins working as a prostitute with other juvenile girls in a back-alley Russian brothel, and her life begins to collapse.

Under the working title Nowhereland, Girl Lost was partially funded on Kickstarter. When the film was released in 2018, Cinema Epoch, the film’s distribution firm, changed the name to Girl Lost.
