Ali Fazal, an Indian actor, and model was born on October 15, 1986, and is best known for his work in Hindi cinema and television. Before appearing in the American television miniseries Bollywood Hero, he had a brief role in the English language film The Other End of the Line. Fazal first appeared in Bollywood with a cameo in 3 Idiots (2009), and then in Always Kabhi Kabhi (2010). His breakthrough role was in Fukrey (2013), and he has since appeared in films such as Baat Ban Gayi (2013), Bobby Jasoos (2014), and Sonali Cable (2014).
He starred in the horror-thriller Khamoshiyan (2015) before starring in his first American picture, Furious 7. (2015). In 2016, he also starred alongside Diana Penty in Happy Bhag Jayegi. He appeared in the British-American film Victoria & Abdul, which recounts Queen Victoria’s (Judi Dench) relationship with her confidant, Indian servant Abdul Karim (Fazal). In 2017, the film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
The official display at Osborne House now includes the costumes worn by the film’s main characters. In the 2018 film Mirzapur, he plays Guddu Pandit. He reprised his role of Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur season 2 in 2020, and he will appear in Mirzapur season 3 as well. Fukrey 3 will also feature him.
