Rashmika Mandanna is expected to depart from her image as the girl next door to play the main antagonist in Atlee’s upcoming big-budget movie, tentatively titled A6, in a shocking turn of events for her budding career. She and her co-star Allu Arjun from Pushpa are also reunited in the movie, but this time they will be competing against one another instead of forming a romantic alliance.
Rashmika reportedly had to choose between two significant projects, but she chose A6 because of the complexity and difficulty of the villainous role. Filming will start in October 2025, and she has already finished a look test. She was reportedly greatly impressed by the character’s arc and potential during pre-visualization work during her recent trip to Los Angeles with Atlee and Arjun.
Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Allu Arjun are among the ensemble cast members that Rashmika will face off against in the action-packed thriller. According to sources, her role will feature dramatic turns and intense confrontations that will reveal a completely different side of her abilities.
Film A6 is slated for release in 2027 and is hailed as one of the most ambitious Indian films to date, combining large-scale action, world-class visual effects, and a daring story.
