Who won Bigg Boss 5?

Juhi Parmar, a daily soap actor, and television presenter won the series on January 7, 2012. Mahek Chahal, the runner-up, returned to compete in Bigg Boss Halla Bol. Bigg Boss 5 is the fifth season of the Indian reality television show Bigg Boss, which aired on Colors from October 2, 2011, to January 7, 2012, and featured hosts Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.

On the 2nd of October, fourteen hand-picked roommates moved into the house in Karjat, a town in the Indian state of Maharashtra roughly midway between Mumbai and Pune. During the second, third, fourth, and seventh weeks, four more wild card entries were made, bringing the total number of contenders to eighteen.

Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan hosted the first episode, which aired on October 2, 2011. This lavish season 5 premiere episode showed many aspects of the Bigg Boss house and introduced each of the contestants.


This season’s contestants were overwhelmingly female. It also featured Bollywood celebrities Ajay Devgn and Samir Soni, who were promoting their upcoming film Rascals and Samir Soni’s new Colors series Parichay.

Juhi Parmar, an Indian anchor, actor, presenter, singer, and dancer, was born on December 14, 1980, and is well known for her work in the Hindi television industry. Her roles as Kumkum in the long-running serial opera Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan (2002-09) and Sangya and Chhaya in Karmaphal Daata Shani earned her fame. She later won Bigg Boss 5 (2011–12), a reality show.

Parmar made her Hindi television debut as Samidha in Zee TV’s Woh in 1998. After a brief hiatus, she returned to Sony Entertainment Television’s Choodiyan to kick off the new millennium. She played Meghna, a sweet and compassionate sister who lost her mother in a tragic accident. In Shaheen, she played the titular protagonist for the first time.
