After the great success of Balika Vadhu, the makers of the series has come with a new season, ‘Balika Vadhu 2’.
The story of Balika Vadhu 2 revolves around a new Anandi played by Shreya Patel. The show addresses the subject of child marriage in our society.
Purnendu Shekhar has written the story of this new Anandi. Purnendu has shared the inspiration and Research work behind this new journey of Anandi.
Purnendu Said that he is from Rajasthan and he got the inspiration for Balika Vadhu 2 from some real-life incidents held in his own family.
He further added that one of his close relatives was a victim of child marriage, which inspired him to write this story. So he can change as many lives and mindsets as possible through his narratives.
Purnendu has done proper research work for the show. He discloses the details of his research work. Purnendu said that it is important to present the fact correctly while dealing with such kinds of issues.
Writer Purnendu said that it is not necessary to do so much research while projecting human stories, but the facts need to be present authentically and clearly.
Purnendu knows everything about the state, including the smallest places, but he does not know much about Gujarat.
The maker of the show contacted a passionate and brilliant writer, Raam Mori, from Gujarat. Raam Mori knows the culture of the state. He was very overwhelmed by being part of the Balika Vadhu 2 team. Raam helps the team to understand the Gujarati culture so well. It helps to give the show a real Gujarati touch.
