Bigg Boss 2 is the second season of Bigg Boss, an Indian reality television show. It premiered on Colors TV on August 21, 2008. The housemates, who were strangers to each other, were locked in together for 98 days under the constant surveillance of 32 cameras installed throughout the Bigg Boss house.
The season lasted a total of 98 days,[2] with the finale airing on November 22, 2008. With a prize of Rs. 1 crore, Ashutosh Kaushik was declared the winner. The show’s runner-up was Raja Chaudhary. Rahul Mahajan won the Aveo UVA automobile after being named the show’s Bada Dilwala.
Ashutosh Kaushik is an actor and reality TV contestant from India. Kaushik also won the MTV Hero Honda Roadies 5.0 competition in 2007. He later appeared in MTV Roadies 8 and the second season of Bigg Boss. In the films Zila Ghaziabad and Kismat Love Paisa Dilli, he played a role.
The British guest on exchange in the house, Jade Goody, stormed out of the Bigg Boss house on the second day of the show after learning she had cancer. Diana Hayden, the fifteenth competitor on the reality game program, was the fifteenth person to enter the house on Day 30 of the show. Due to a voluntary withdrawal by a popular housemate, Rahul Mahajan, the show topped the rating charts in its final week.
Rahul Mahajan and Sambhavana Sheth, who were housemates, returned to compete in Bigg Boss Halla Bol. On Days 21 and 24, they became the third and fourth housemates to be evicted, respectively. In Bigg Boss 14, Mahajan made a comeback as a challenger.
