Here to get what she wants, introducing to you the mysterious Karma Talwar, who has entered the elite Alibaug society with a motive and will leave no stone unturned in getting what she wants. Played by the talented Namrata Sheth in Disney+ Hotstar’s Karmma Calling, Karma Talwar is back to unveil the deceit and betrayal that lies underneath the opulence of the Kothari empire. Will she be successful in claiming what’s truly hers? Or will she too become a pawn of the Kothari Empire?
Produced by R.A.T Films, adapted for India and directed by Ruchi Narain, Hotstar Specials’ Karmma Calling is releasing on January 26, 2024 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. The series stars Raveena Tandon as Indrani Kothari, Varun Sood as Ahaan Kothari and Namrata Sheth as Karma Talwar
Talking about her character, Karma Talwar aka Namrata Sheth said, “Karma is somebody that has come from a lot of wealth but then she lost everything and had nothing for a long time in her life. She decides to come back into this high society world where she has to play a part and look the part. We still maintained the elegance and minimalism that defines her personality.”
Adding on, Namrata Sheth says, “I got the part after several auditions. A character like this was just the kind of opportunity I was looking out for, something challenging. So, when I heard that they were auditioning for this part, I was already very excited because I am a huge fan of the original show. I have watched it growing up and I already felt very connected to it.”
Karmma Calling is based on the U.S. original series Revenge, which aired from 2011-2015 and was produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.
