Vidya Balan recently recalled an amusing moment from her early career when she turned down a film opposite Akshaye Khanna—and asked John Abraham for help after facing Akshaye’s fake fury!
Not wanting to hurt anyone, Vidya had her manager decline the project on her behalf. But when she bumped into Akshaye on the sets of Salaam-e-Ishq, he pretended to scold her. Caught off-guard, Vidya rushed to John Abraham, only to find Akshaye was just teasing her.
Now more comfortable with saying ‘no,’ Vidya acknowledges the effort behind every script. “Being married to a producer has made me even more sensitive,” she added. Vidya was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
