She is widely known for her celebrated dancing sequences in films such as Vaastav and Aankhen, as well as her performances in such hits as Yes Boss and Jungle. Kashmira began acting in theatre and quickly established herself as a skilled performer in her many productions.
This may have aided her in showcasing her abilities in the film ‘Jungle,’ for which she received a coveted Best Supporting Actress nomination in the local film industry. Shah recently made the transition from notable co-starring roles to leading ones, most notably in a sequence of films that include one in which she plays Revati, a destitute rag picker who recovers her dignity through a voyage of self-discovery.
And her most recent production, My Bollywood Bride, in which she plays Reena, a Bollywood film star who falls in love with an American writer played by Jason Lewis (Sex and the City), in addition to co-writing the screenplay.
