The film was then released in 30 additional cinemas across the United States. After Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, it was the second-highest-grossing film per theatre. It closed without a broad release on August 7, 2008, grossing only $580,862 in fewer than 30 theatres across the United States and Canada.
