John Paul Cusack, also known as John Cusack, is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, and political activist who was born on June 28, 1966. He started performing in movies in the 1980s and has since appeared in over 85 films, including Sixteen Candles (1984), Tapeheads (1988), Say Anything (1989), and Bullets over Broadway (1994).
His last movie was War, Inc. Joshua Seftel directed War, Inc., a 2008 American political action comedy movie featuring John Cusack and Hilary Duff. The film was also co-written and produced by Cusack.
When hitman Brand Hauser (John Cusack) shoots and kills three guys in a Nunavut pub, the movie begins. He uses his phone to take pictures of the men, sends them, and then throws the phone into a burning rubbish can.
War, Inc. is supposed to be a loose sequel to Grosse Pointe Blank, which was released in 1997. Both movies star John Cusack as an assassin and he as his assistant, with Dan Aykroyd in a supporting part in both the films.

It closed without a broad release on August 7, 2008, grossing only $580,862 in fewer than 30 theatres across the United States and Canada.
