Renowned film producer Allu Aravind, father of Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun, has announced a financial aid package of ₹2 crore for Sri Teja, the eight-year-old boy critically injured in the December 4 stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the special screening event for Pushpa 2.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, Allu Aravind expressed relief at the boy’s recovery progress. “Sri Teja is recovering. He is no longer on a ventilator and can now breathe independently,” Aravind said, as reported by PTI.
Allu Arjun, along with key contributors from the film industry, stepped forward to support the young victim’s family. “₹1 crore will be provided by Allu Arjun, ₹50 lakh by Mythri Movie Makers, and ₹50 lakh by director Sukumar. The total amount of ₹2 crore will be handed over through Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju,” Aravind stated.
This compassionate move by the Pushpa 2 team has been widely appreciated by fans and the public, who continue to send prayers for Sri Teja’s speedy recovery.
