Henderson grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas, and was born in Temple, Texas. His mother works in the pharmaceutical sector and his father is a school therapist. Before relocating to California at the age of 18 to pursue an acting career, he had a role as ‘Teenage Boy #2’ on the television show Friday Night Lights.
Big Time Rush was Henderson’s breakthrough role. He portrayed Logan Mitchell, the figure who is usually getting the group out of problems on the show. Henderson and the rest of Big Time Rush performed at the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards and made appearances at the 2010 and 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards.
