Lara Dutta Bhupathi commemorated the 20th anniversary of the release of Andaaz, her Bollywood first movie with Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra.
Around the same period, in 2003, actresses Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta made their Bollywood film debuts. Priyanka’s debut Bollywood movie, “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy,” came out in April 2003. Lara Dutta Bhupathi, meanwhile, made her acting debut in the May 23rd, 2003 film Andaaz. The principal parts in the movie were also played by Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. Andaaz became 20 years old today, and Lata Dutta Bhupathi shared a beautiful Instagram photo to mark the occasion.
Lara reminisced and sent a heartfelt letter to the directors, as well as to her co-stars Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar.
Lara Dutta uploaded two photos on her Instagram account. The first one was the Andaaz movie poster, which starred her with Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. The second image is a shot from the movie Andaaz, in which Lara Dutta is shown smiling beside Akshay Kumar. She thanked Akshay Kumar in her message for always being supportive of her and added that she and Priyanka Chopra will stand by them other no matter what. “And just like that…….. it’s been 20 years!!! What an incredible, exhilarating journey!!! Always grateful! First of all to the audience and fans! To @suneeldarshan for offering me my first film and being the wonderful, cultured, caring person he is. My dearest Raj ji for being the most patient teacher My forever most handsome, most fun , always there for me, @akshaykumar For just being who he is!!!” wrote Lara Dutta.
Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra are quite successful. They both won Miss India in 2000 before making their Bollywood debuts in 2003. Priyanka was named Miss World, while Lara subsequently went on to capture the Miss Universe crown.
Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra get along well. Priyanka and Lara first connected in London in 2021. Saira, the daughter of Lara, was seen in Priyanka’s posted photo from their meeting. “21 years and counting… friendships that can pick up at any given time. Lara Dutta and her most shining star. Saira you’re definitely your mum’s daughter. Adore you. So much love for these ladies. And so many memories,” wrote Priyanka Chopra.
