Bollywood actor Seema Bhargava Pahwa took to social media to share beautiful photos from the intimate wedding of her son, Mayank Pahwa to Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister Sanah Kapur.
The couple tied the knot on February 2 in a low-key affair in Mahabaleshwar with family members and close friends in attendance. The veteran actor-director also penned a heartfelt note to welcome Sanah, into the Pahwa family. Seema wrote, “Happiest day in my life god bless you both love you and feel proud to announce my son MAYANK PAHWA & SANHA KAPOOR got married so so so happy @sanahkapur15 @mayankpahwa_13 @manukritip @manoj__pahwa429 #happiness #blessed #love #life #celebration.”
In yet another post that Seema shared, the newlyweds are seen walking hand in hand, she captioned it with: ‘Love you, followed with several heart emojis.”
As soon as she shared the post, actor Ayushmann Khurrana who has worked with Seema in films like ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, commented, “Shubhkaamnaayen,” while filmmaker Hitesh Kewalya wrote, “Many Congratulations Seema ji.”
Seema also dropped a beautiful family portrait featuring — Shahid and Mira Kapoor, Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, and others. She wrote, “Now we are the family .”
At the wedding, actor Supriya Pathak’s sister and actor Ratna Pathak Shah, Naseeruddin Shah, and their son Vivaan were also present. Vivaan shared a beautiful picture with Sana and wrote, “Don’t have words to describe how I’m feeling. This was the most beautiful ceremony ever!!! Soooo proud of you @sanahkapur15 Love you soooooo much.”
Sanah and Mayank got hitched on March 2. Sanah is the daughter of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, and Mayank is the son of Manoj Pahwa and Seema.
Sanah made her Bollywood debut with Vikas Bahl’s 2015 film Shandaar which also featured Shahid Kapoor, and then she was seen in Khajoor Pe Atke in 2018. Mayank, on the other hand, has appeared in several short films.
